In the trailer of the film, Vicky and Rashmika are shown dancing with ‘Lejim’, a traditional musical instrument associated with the cultural heritage of Maharashtra. Talking on this, Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati said that the film is a commendable attempt to depict the life and bravery of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He demanded the film’s director Laxman Utekar and his team to show the entire film before its release.
Release raised demand to show the film to historians
Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati also said that he has advised the film makers to consult historians. He believes that this important story should be shown authentically to the whole world. However, he said that till now the filmmakers have not contacted the historians. He also said that Legim is an important part of the cultural heritage of Maharashtra, but it is important to discuss whether such scenes should be shown or not.
