Vijay Varma, known for his intense roles, is set to charm audiences in a new light with “Gustaakh Ishq – Kucch Pehle Jaisa.” At the recent trailer launch, Varma shared his initial thoughts on the script, describing it as “as sweet as honey” and celebrating life’s simple joys. Surprised by the offer due to his established image, Varma acknowledged the producer and director’s vision in presenting a fresh narrative. He felt the script resonated with him, highlighting a unique teacher-student romance with Naseeruddin Shah alongside his romantic lead with Fatima Sana Shaikh. Varma emphasized that “Gustaakh Ishq” offers a heartfelt, realistic, and raw portrayal of passion and life struggles, a departure from today’s grand narratives. The film, also starring Naseeruddin Shah and Fatima Sana Shaikh, is slated for a November 28th release.
