Actress Amisha Patel has repeatedly emphasized that traditional clothing plays a crucial role in elevating the mood of Indian festivals. She told journalists that the sparkle of Diwali lamps, the rhythm of Ganesh Chaturthi drums, and the energetic performances of Navratri are all intensified when she dons sarees, lehengas or ethnic ensembles. Patel believes that these garments not only respect cultural heritage but also double the enjoyment of the occasion. The star also touched upon the recent theft at her parents’ home in Mumbai, where thieves allegedly absconded with jewellery valued at about five lakh rupees. Patel’s film journey began with the 2000 hit "Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai" and continued with blockbusters such as "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha", "Humraaz" and the 2023 sequel "Gadar 2". Hailing from a Gujarati background, she is the granddaughter of Rajni Patel, a celebrated lawyer and a confidant of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
