Singer Zubeen Garg, who passed away on September 19, 2025, will have his final film released on October 31st. Following his death, thousands gathered on the streets of Assam to pay their respects. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. Film producer Rajesh Bhuyan has announced the release of the upcoming film ‘Roi Roi Binale’, a project that was very personal to Garg. The film will feature Garg’s original vocals. The movie’s story was written by Zubeen himself, and production had been underway for three years.
Rajesh explained that Zubeen had wanted the film to be released on October 31st, and so that date will be honored. The film was nearly complete, with only the background music left to be finalized. The film will be released across the entire country, not just in Assam. The songs were also written by Zubeen, and the vocals are reportedly 80-90% clear due to the use of a lapel microphone, making this a special gift for his fans.
The film is a musical love story in which Zubeen plays a blind man. His wife expressed how happy he was about the project. The voiceover work was incomplete, but Rajesh confirmed the film will be released with Garg’s original voice. The film is in the Assamese language.
Garg’s death occurred during a scuba diving incident in Singapore while he was attending an event. He was rushed to the hospital, where he passed away. There are allegations of foul play, and several individuals have been arrested as the police continue their investigation.
