Rapid 108 Response Enables Safe Home Birth of Triplets in Gujarat

In the early hours of September 20, a pregnant woman from Rohishala village gave birth to her first child before emergency help could arrive. The 108 emergency medical team received the distress call at 8:48 p.m. on September 19 and quickly dispatched EMT Jignasha Luhar along with driver Suresh Bhai. Upon arrival, the EMT evaluated the mother's condition, provided immediate assistance, and facilitated the delivery of the second and third babies. All three newborns were male and stable. Following the successful home deliveries, the mother and infants were transferred to Janana Hospital for further monitoring, with Dr. Jotsna providing remote medical direction throughout the process.
