Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate took a decisive step towards improving emergency response and law enforcement Thursday, as Commissioner Laxmi Singh launched 25 new two-wheeler PRVs at the Sector-108 headquarters. Part of the Dial-112 service, these vehicles target remote areas, expressways, and high-risk paths in Noida, Central Noida, and Greater Noida. With the Noida International Airport's launch on the horizon, security measures have been intensified. Dial-112 teams will conduct round-the-clock patrols near the airport and link roads, backed by the strategic relocation of three police outposts. The PRVs address previous gaps in rapid police reach, prioritizing mobile surveillance on key corridors. Allocation details reveal 10 PRVs for Noida Zone, 10 for Central Noida, and 5 for Greater Noida. Fitted with cutting-edge communication tech, these vehicles will elevate patrolling efficiency, reduce response times for incidents like traffic mishaps and crimes, and boost public sense of safety. Commissioner Singh emphasized the commissionerate's commitment to upgrading infrastructure. This move aligns with ongoing efforts to leverage technology for proactive policing, ensuring residents feel more secure in an ever-growing urban landscape. The event saw participation from top brass, such as Deputy Commissioner of Traffic and Dial-112 Abhay Kumar Mishra and Assistant Commissioner Shakil Ahmad, underscoring the force's unified push for enhanced security.
