AESC to Add 1,582 km of Lines and 10,500 MVA Capacity in New Vizag Grid

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESC) will augment its private transmission network with an additional 1,582 kilometres of high‑voltage transmission lines and 10,500 megavolt‑amps of transformation capability in the Vizag‑Pendurthi area. Once completed, the total network will stretch to 29,531 km and hold a transformation capacity of 133,675 MVA, cementing AESC’s status as India's largest private transmission operator. The expansion is designed to support the surge in data centre activity, AI‑driven hyper‑scale facilities, and clean‑energy projects that are positioning Vizag as a new digital infrastructure hub.
