After Quad Talks, Rubio Leaves India for Armenia Meetings

Following productive Quad discussions in New Delhi, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has flown to Armenia to deepen diplomatic engagement with Yerevan. The visit marks the next leg of his packed schedule after a successful four-day mission across India. Ahead of his arrival, the American Embassy in Armenia issued a statement outlining meetings focused on bilateral relations, regional stability, and the signing of new cooperation documents. Rubio is also expected to hold a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan. During his India tour, Rubio started in Kolkata, held strategic talks in New Delhi with Jaishankar and Modi, and enjoyed cultural excursions to Agra and Jaipur alongside his spouse. The couple received a warm traditional welcome in Rajasthan and visited historic landmarks. At the Quad session, Rubio stressed that the platform has evolved into an action-oriented alliance. He expressed gratitude to India for hosting and highlighted collaborative efforts on pressing international issues among the four member nations.
