AI, career planning and social media discussed at Bhopal girls school
Bhopal, August 5 – Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Kamla Nehru Sandeepani Government Girls School as part of the "From Book to Tomorrow" initiative. The forum provided a platform for students to ask questions about artificial intelligence, future career choices, the influence of social media and methods to manage academic pressure.
When a student inquired about his use of ChatGPT, Yadav confirmed that he turns to AI for quick updates on topics related to his speeches and programmes. He cautioned, however, that AI should never replace personal analysis and that every piece of data must be validated through critical thinking.
The CM also conversed with the school’s elected student cabinet, whose members oversee areas such as principal’s office liaison, sports, cultural activities and discipline. He described the cabinet’s election as a micro‑cosm of democratic practice, involving campaign rallies, voting booths and regular teacher‑led review meetings.
Emphasising lifelong learning, Yadav urged students to set clear academic targets, maintain regular study schedules, and allocate time for extracurricular pursuits like sports and self‑learning. He highlighted the role of discipline in achieving long‑term goals.
On the topic of social platforms, Yadav noted that they have become vital communication tools for public leaders. He mentioned that he follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Instagram to stay informed about national policies.
The Chief Minister concluded by encouraging pupils to aid accident victims, help younger siblings attain education, and give back to society. He appealed to teachers to inspire students to explore opportunities in agriculture, entrepreneurship, armed forces, civil services and politics.
The institution, founded in 1958, currently educates more than 1,800 girls from nursery up to class 12. Recent initiatives include smart classrooms, advanced laboratories and a democratically elected student cabinet aimed at nurturing leadership skills.
