A video has surfaced on social media showing Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar engaged in a heated exchange with Deputy SP Anjali Krishna of Solapur district. The conversation, which took place on September 1st, depicts Pawar allegedly ordering the officer to halt illegal sand mining activities. The incident began when a local resident contacted Pawar and connected him with Anjali Krishna. When she questioned his identity and requested he call her directly, Pawar responded with, “So much daring, I will take action against you.” Krishna maintained her stance, asking him to call her on her official number. Separately, an investigation by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) revealed that approximately 47% of ministers in India, or 302 out of 643, are facing criminal charges.
