A significant encounter on May 21 in the Boter village forests led to the neutralization of 27 Naxals, including CPI (Maoist) General Secretary Basavaraju alias Gaganna, with substantial arms and ammunition recovered. The officers involved were recognized, and the event was attended by key officials, including Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
