The Indian Navy is set to commission the second Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC), INS Androth, at the Visakhapatnam Naval Dockyard today. This addition represents a significant stride towards enhancing capabilities and promoting indigenous development.
Constructed by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) in Kolkata, Androth boasts over 80% indigenous content, highlighting India’s growing maritime self-reliance and commitment to new domestic technologies.
