Authorities Address Voter Grievances at Dedicated SIR Camp

Special SIR camps set up across Delhi on September 23 offered a platform for citizens to raise concerns about their entries in the electoral roll. Staff from the Election Commission, district administration and local EROs coordinated to verify documents, process claims and resolve objections.

During a visit to the Ghonda constituency, officials inspected the setup, interacted with voters and noted any procedural bottlenecks. In western Delhi, complaint registers were opened, and officers responded to queries ranging from address mismatches to missing photographs.

The south‑west district replicated the model at every polling center, ensuring that claim filing was streamlined and that voters left with clear instructions. Feedback collected from these camps will feed into future updates of the voter database, reinforcing the integrity of the electoral process.
