Authorities told to inspect streets, speed up pothole repairs and sanitation
During the marathon meeting, Chief Minister Dhami gave a clear directive to all district magistrates: conduct a physical survey of every road in their districts, identify potholes, and launch immediate remedial work. He warned against “paper‑only” progress and demanded that the quality of road construction meet national standards.
The chief minister also ordered municipal bodies, corporations and local authorities to reinforce cleanliness drives. Regular sweeping of markets, main thoroughfares and public spaces must become a routine activity, not a seasonal campaign. Officials were asked to submit photographic evidence of daily cleaning and to act swiftly wherever waste accumulation is observed.
In addition, Dhami emphasized that revenue‑related services such as land records, patwari and tahsildar functions must be processed without unnecessary delays, so that citizens do not have to make repeated trips to government offices. He called for a transparent, time‑bound system that puts public convenience at the forefront.
