A tragic road rage incident in Bengaluru has resulted in the death of a 24-year-old food delivery agent, Darshan. The horrifying event unfolded on the evening of October 25 when a couple, identified as Manoj Kumar and Aarati Sharma, allegedly pursued Darshan on his scooter and deliberately rammed their car into it. Initially reported as a hit-and-run, the case has now been reclassified as murder following the review of crucial CCTV footage that clearly shows the intentional nature of the attack. Darshan, a resident of Kembattalli, was fatally struck from behind in Nataraja Layout, with his friend who was riding pillion sustaining injuries. The accused, Manoj Kumar, a Kalaripayattu instructor, and his wife, Aarati Sharma, were apprehended after they were seen returning to the crime scene masked, attempting to retrieve parts of their damaged vehicle. Both have confessed to their involvement in the fatal incident, which stemmed from a minor scuffle over a side-view mirror. The investigation highlights a shocking display of anger and recklessness, where a trivial dispute escalated into a deadly confrontation.
