At a rally in Purnea, Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reiterated his commitment to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), stating he would remain with the coalition. Kumar made this declaration in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized the long-standing partnership between the JD(U) and BJP, which first formed a government in Bihar in November 2005. Kumar acknowledged instances where he had been on a different side, attributing it to influences from within his own party.
He praised Prime Minister Modi, expressing gratitude for the work being done for the entire country and specifically for Bihar. Kumar also thanked the dignitaries present. Furthermore, the Chief Minister announced a commitment to generate employment for one crore youth over the next five years, highlighting the special assistance being provided for establishing new industries in Bihar.
