A man in Bihar has been apprehended following accusations of brutally torturing his wife, stemming from suspicions of an extramarital affair. The victim alleges her husband subjected her to horrific abuse, including forcing her to ingest chili powder and burning her with a hot iron. The woman was also reportedly locked in a room for two days without food or water. She was eventually rescued by her brother and is now receiving medical treatment at Shree Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH). An FIR has been filed, and authorities are actively seeking the arrest of the other accused individuals.
