Political parties are buzzing regarding the Bihar Assembly elections. NDA leaders have stated there’s no need to worry about seat-sharing; everything will be clarified before the elections. JDU strongly criticized Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, stating that those portraying themselves as Jananayak Karpoori Thakur will receive a fitting response from the public in the upcoming elections. Let’s take a look at the major news related to Bihar’s politics.
1- Rock-Solid Unity in NDA Alliance, Everything Will Be Clear Before Elections
A joint press conference of the state presidents of the NDA constituent parties was held on Tuesday at the BJP state office in Patna. BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal, JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha, LJP Ram Vilas state president Raju Tiwari, and other party leaders were present. These leaders said that there is no need to worry about seat-sharing and everything will be clear before the elections. The NDA alliance is united with rock-solid unity.
BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal said that the NDA started the assembly worker conference from August 23. We held a press conference for this. We successfully conducted the first phase of the worker conference at the assembly level.
2- India Will Become Number One Country in the World: Dharmendra Pradhan
The Youth of Bihar @2047 Student Conclave was organized on Tuesday at Gyan Bhawan, Patna. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP state president Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary addressed the program. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that India will become the number one country in the world. However, he also said that there is one condition: Bihar must lead this effort.
He clearly stated that this country is not a ‘dharamshala’. He questioned whether Bangladeshis have the right to vote in this country. The facilities here are for the people of the country. Those who used to steal cow and buffalo fodder, who stole land, should now open their eyes and see the development of Bihar. Congress had taken away rights by imposing the Emergency. Today, Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav are touring with the CM of Telangana, who questioned the DNA of Bihar.
3- Pashupati Paras’s Party Suffers a Major Setback
Former Union Minister Pashupati Paras’s party suffered a major setback on Tuesday. A total of 105 workers, including the Vaishali district president, joined the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) on Tuesday. On Tuesday, a large number of people, including Manoj Singh, the Vaishali district president of the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party, along with the entire district committee of 105 members, accepted the membership of the party. LJP (R) state president Raju Tiwari inducted all the new members into the party at the state office. On this occasion, former district president of Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party, Manoj Kumar Singh, Bharat Sah, Pinku Singh, Birendra Singh, and many other important workers joined the party.
4- Virtual Meeting Regarding NDA Assembly Worker Conference
A crucial meeting was held on Tuesday at the party office in Patna, chaired by JDU state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha, to review the conferences held on the second day of the first phase of the NDA Assembly worker conference. District program coordinators, district organization in-charge, district presidents, assembly in-charges, and block presidents of the party participated virtually in the meeting. During this, the state president congratulated the party officials for the success of the first phase of the NDA Assembly worker conference and also gave necessary guidelines to ensure the success of the upcoming programs. Simultaneously, the voter’s in-depth revision campaign and the ongoing assembly-wise campaign by Mahila JDU and Yuva JDU were also reviewed.
5- The Public Will Give a Fitting Reply to Those Calling Themselves Jananayak – JDU
JDU state spokesperson Himraj Ram and state spokesperson Parimal Kumar, while strongly criticizing Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, said that the public will give a fitting reply in the upcoming assembly elections to those who call themselves Jananayak Karpoori Thakur. They said that the one who never respected Jananayak and always insulted him, how can he claim to be Jananayak? The one who is himself accused of corruption and whose name is associated with many scams, he is claiming to be Jananayak today; this is a great insult to Jananayak Karpoori Thakur.
Lalu Prasad Yadav, in his lifetime, insulted Karpoori Thakur and Dalits. When the then-Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Shivanandan Paswan, requested Lalu Prasad to bring Karpoori Thakur to the House and that he should go to bring him but couldn’t for some reason, therefore he should call the Leader of Opposition, Jananayak Karpoori Thakur, to the House. Then Lalu Prasad Yadav wrote that his jeep did not have fuel and if Karpoori Thakur felt it necessary, he could come by rickshaw. Not only this, he also wrote that Karpoori Thakur has been the Chief Minister twice, why doesn’t he buy a car?
6- Priyanka Mocked Hardworking Biharis in Punjab
JDU state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha, targeting Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, said that the Congress party’s thinking has always been insulting towards Bihar and the people of Bihar. He mentioned the incident during the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections, when the then-Congress Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi made a very objectionable statement against the hardworking people of Bihar and UP, and Priyanka Gandhi, who was present on the stage, applauded that statement. This reflects the real mentality of the Congress.
Umesh Singh Kushwaha said that the people of Bihar have not forgotten that insult even today. He questioned that with what moral right are those leaders coming to campaign in Bihar who have openly supported the statement that hurt the honor of Biharis? He said that this double character of the Congress has now been completely exposed, and the people of Bihar are ready to give them a fitting reply in the upcoming elections.
