The Amrit Bharat Express is rapidly becoming a convenient travel option for people, following the success of the Vande Bharat Express. This train offers affordable travel, contributing to its growing popularity, as stated by the Railway Board. An official from the Railway Board highlighted that the Amrit Bharat Express reinforces the spirit of self-reliance in the country. The Amrit Bharat Express reflects the evolving landscape of the nation, with its design and amenities attracting passengers. While premium trains like Vande Bharat, Shatabdi, and Rajdhani are already running, the Amrit Bharat Express has quickly established its place. The comfort of passengers during the journey is given special attention.
This train is giving strong competition to Vande Bharat in terms of occupancy, with seats filling up to 99-100 percent. The train is also technologically very safe, presenting a special offering to railway passengers. With this train, ordinary people are able to travel 1000 kilometers for just ₹500 in the unreserved category. The train is air-conditioned. Currently, there are 12 Amrit Bharat Express trains operating across the country.
Today, Bihar will receive three new Amrit Bharat Express trains. Of these, 10 trains operate from Bihar.
