Aradhya Singh, a 14-year-old from Bihar, has achieved the extraordinary feat of translating the Hanuman Chalisa into 234 languages. This remarkable accomplishment aims to make the sacred hymn accessible globally, transcending linguistic and cultural barriers. The young girl, a resident of Balua Chowk in East Champaran district, is now seeking to have her work recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. Her ambition is to spread the message of the Hanuman Chalisa across the world, fostering spiritual connection among diverse communities.
Aradhya’s translations include not only regional languages like Bhojpuri, Maithili, and Sanskrit but also languages like Korean, Latin American dialects, and Japanese. The project, which took approximately six months, was supported by her parents and involved the use of translation tools and rigorous checking of the translated text. Aradhya’s work reflects her deep spiritual inclination and desire to connect people with the rich heritage of Indian culture.
Inspired by the desire to share Indian culture globally, Aradhya believes her work will help people from different backgrounds connect with the Hanuman Chalisa. Beyond her translation work, Aradhya is also focused on a project called ‘Aadaraniya Dalit,’ indicating her dedication to social causes and the upliftment of marginalized communities. Her parents, Manoj Singh and Rani Singh, have fully supported her endeavors, encouraging her to pursue her passions and providing the necessary resources.
Aradhya’s mother, Rani Singh, emphasized the importance of exploring pursuits beyond academics. With her work, Aradhya hopes to promote the understanding and appreciation of Indian culture on a global scale.
