The political atmosphere surrounding the Bihar Assembly elections is intensifying daily. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav of allowing the use of offensive language towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother during a rally on Saturday. Amit Malviya, the head of BJP’s IT and social media cell, along with BJP MLA Lakhendra Paswan and other BJP leaders, shared a video claiming that insults were hurled at PM Modi during an RJD public meeting in the Mahua assembly constituency. Tejashwi Yadav was in Vaishali as part of the Bihar Adhikar Yatra. The BJP alleges that at the rally, the crowd used offensive words against PM Modi’s mother. Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition, was present on the stage with Mahua MLA Dr. Mukesh Raushan during the event. The public meeting took place in the Gandhi Maidan of Mahua after Tejashwi Yadav addressed a public gathering in Patepur, Vaishali district, as part of the Bihar Adhikar Yatra. Tejashwi Yadav addressed the gathering in Mahua late in the evening. A video of the event has gone viral on social media, allegedly showing derogatory language used against PM Modi. Tejashwi Yadav is seen on stage in the video, while someone in the crowd uses abusive language against PM Modi and his late mother. MLA Mukesh Raushan and other RJD leaders and workers were also present on the stage.
