Bihar Education Department Gets New Head in Massive IAS Shifting

Vinod Singh Gunjiyal has been appointed as the new Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, taking over from B. Rajender. Other notable changes include the appointment of Abhay Kumar Singh as the Secretary of the Information Technology Department. Singh, who was previously serving in the Food and Consumer Protection Department, will also take on the role of Managing Director for the Bihar State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (BELTRON). Taking his place in the Food and Consumer Protection Department is Deepak Anand, who moves from the Labour Resources Department. This chain of transfers indicates a broader strategy to reassign experienced officers to sectors requiring specialized attention, particularly in technology and food security.
