The Bihar government has announced that it has provided over 140,000 government jobs in the past year. This includes the recruitment of over 110,000 teachers, more than 21,000 constables, and approximately 10,000 revenue officials. These appointments, made under the framework of reservation policies, have also provided opportunities for the overall development of people from backward and Dalit communities. The government believes this initiative is transforming the economic and social landscape of the state.
