Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey announced that the process of appointing 1800 assistant professors in the state’s medical colleges will begin within the next two to two and a half months. Furthermore, postings for government doctors will now be based on their preferences. The announcement was made during a distribution of appointment letters to 694 newly appointed senior medical officers and medical officers at the Urja Auditorium in the capital city. Key officials from the health department, including the Additional Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit and Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, were present.
