Body of Inter Student Found in Bush After Friends' Alleged Murder in Begusarai

Authorities in Begusarai, Bihar, are probing a shocking homicide where five friends are accused of luring a young intermediate pupil from his residence and shooting him dead. The deceased, identified as Sajan "Golu" Kumar, son of Arvind Paswan of Bhandriha village (Ward 4), was reportedly invited to the perpetrators' house on a Friday night around eight o'clock.

When he did not return, his relatives grew anxious and began searching. One of the accused allegedly phoned the family, claiming the student had been shot and his corpse discarded in a shrub near Bhagela Chowdhary, Hdalpur. The claim was verified when the body, bearing a bullet wound to the head, was retrieved from the vegetation.

The police secured the remains and sent them to Begusarai District Hospital for a post‑mortem. A motorcycle found at the location has been seized as evidence, and multiple suspects have been placed under custodial interrogation. The family asserted that the victim had no personal enmities, making the incident a severe breach of trust that has unsettled the local populace.
