A shocking incident of murder has emerged from Chhapra, Bihar. A man has been accused of fatally stabbing his younger brother. The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Sonu Kumar, and the alleged perpetrator is Sunny. The incident took place in Marar village of Parsa block in the district. The murder occurred on Sunday evening, and Sunny, the elder brother, fled the scene after the crime.
The reason behind the murder is astonishing. Sonu had purchased three ice creams. He ate one himself, gave one to his mother, and offered the last one to Sunny’s wife, his sister-in-law. This act is believed to have sparked the fatal dispute.
It’s reported that when Sonu gave the ice cream to Sunny’s wife, Sunny misinterpreted the gesture, leading to an argument. The situation escalated, and Sunny lost his composure, pulling out a knife and attacking his younger brother Sonu. The knife struck Sonu on the left side of his chest, causing him to bleed profusely. Family members rushed him to the community health center for treatment.
Doctors at the health center, realizing Sonu’s critical condition, referred him to PMCH after providing initial treatment. However, Sonu succumbed to his injuries on the way to PMCH. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and gathered details from the family. The body was later sent to the Sadar Hospital.
According to Sonu’s mother, he was the sole earning member of the family. Family members also mentioned that Sunny had married just five days prior to the incident. The dispute arose over Sonu giving ice cream to his sister-in-law, Sunny’s wife.
