Preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar are in full swing. In this regard, the Chief Election Commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, will visit Bihar on October 4th and 5th to review the election preparations. During the visit, they will meet with the Chief Electoral Officer and other state officials to assess the readiness for the elections.
Before the Chief Election Commissioner’s visit, a meeting of the observers appointed by the commission will be held in Delhi on Friday. This meeting will include all election observers, police officials, and other officers. Election dates are generally announced after a visit by a full member of the Election Commission to a state.
