A disturbing video originating from Jaynagar, a border area of Bihar’s Madhubani district, has gone viral on social media. The video depicts a coaching instructor engaging in inappropriate behavior with a female student in what is supposed to be an educational environment. The incident has triggered a wave of shock and outrage, and a subsequent investigation has revealed a complex web of manipulation and extortion. Based on the victim’s statement, the police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) in the case.
The accused instructor, identified as Rakesh Yadav, is alleged to have harassed the student, making advances and making her uncomfortable. The victim stated that the instructor constantly made unwanted advances towards her and engaged in inappropriate actions. Furthermore, she claims that the coaching center’s landlord, Kuldeep Singh, and his friend, Sonu Chodhary, also molested her.
The student told the police that she was coerced by Kuldeep Singh and Sonu Chodhary to film the instructor, Rakesh Yadav, to extort 20 lakhs from him. She was threatened with death if she did not comply. Under duress, she filmed the video. The video was subsequently disseminated by the landlord, Kuldeep Singh, causing immense emotional distress and shame to the victim. An FIR has been filed against the accused as well as the social media and YouTube channels that circulated the video. The police are conducting raids to apprehend the accused and identify the social media platforms that amplified the illicit content. The suspects include the coaching instructor, the landlord, and his associate.
