Political tensions are escalating ahead of the Bihar assembly elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav of allowing RJD workers to use abusive language against the late mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Bihar Adhikar Yatra. This incident follows a similar controversy that arose during a rally by Rahul Gandhi in Darbhanga. BJP leaders have strongly condemned the act, calling it an insult to democracy and the culture of Bihar.
On Sunday, the BJP claimed that RJD workers used abusive language during Tejashwi Yadav’s yatra. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary shared a video of the alleged incident on his X handle, stating that Tejashwi Yadav was encouraging the use of abusive language by the workers, which he considered to be a disgrace to Bihar’s culture. Choudhary further stated that the mothers and sisters of Bihar would give a democratic response to this insult.
