Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat Express, marking the commencement of its operations. Following the inauguration, the Danapur-Jogbani Vande Bharat Express is now ready to serve passengers. On the inaugural day, the train made a special journey from Jogbani, passing through Araria, Purnia, Samastipur, Madhepura, Saharsa, and Patna, before arriving at Danapur late at night.
The train is scheduled to begin regular service on September 17th. The Railway has officially announced the fare structure for the Danapur-Jogbani Vande Bharat Express. Bookings for the Danapur-Jogbani Vande Bharat Express have commenced. Passengers traveling from Danapur to Jogbani will be charged ₹1320 for Chair Car (CC) and ₹2375 for Executive Class (EC).
Train will depart from Danapur at 5:10 PM.
For travel from Danapur to Muzaffarpur, passengers will pay ₹490 for CC and ₹925 for EC. Similarly, fares for Samastipur are ₹555 for CC and ₹1060 for EC, for Khagaria, ₹925 for CC and ₹1600 for EC, and for Purnia, ₹1185 for CC and ₹2120 for EC. Train number 26302 Vande Bharat Express will depart from Danapur at 5:10 PM on September 17th.
Train will depart from Jogbani at 3:25 AM.
The train will pass through Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Hasanpur Road, Salouna, Khagaria, Saharsa, Dauram Madhepura, Banmankhi, Purnia, Araria Court, and Farbisganj, reaching Jogbani at 1:20 AM. Furthermore, train number 26301 will depart from Jogbani at 3:25 AM, passing through Farbisganj, Araria Court, Purnia, Banmankhi, Dauram Madhepura, Saharsa, Khagaria, Salouna, Hasanpur Road, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, and Hajipur, arriving at Danapur at 11:30 AM.
The high-speed train is expected to enhance connectivity between Seemanchal and Patna. The train is considered a significant advancement for passengers in the Seemanchal and Kosi regions. Passengers previously endured long travel times, but now, with the speed and modern amenities of the Vande Bharat Express, the journey will be significantly easier.
