Delhi Police Crack Down on Family Fraud Syndicate Busted in Patna

Delhi’s Economic Offences Wing has exposed a sophisticated financial scam orchestrated by three family members who lured citizens with guaranteed high-yield returns. The scheme promised to double investors' money in just 20 months, ultimately defrauding the public of ₹3 crore.

The bust occurred in Bihar's capital, where police tracked the fugitives to the Digha neighborhood. The detained trio comprises Satyendranath Yadav (51), Vikas Yadav (28), and a 46-year-old woman, all confirmed to be from the same household.

Originally operating a conventional private trade, the family pivoted to fraudulent finance after discovering quicker monetary gains. They established 'Satya Financial Consultancy Services' to legitimize their operations. Under this banner, they aggressively marketed investment plans with interest rates reaching 60 percent, using an initial wave of successful payouts to manufacture credibility.

Out of the 27 formal complaints logged with Delhi authorities, victims claim that their life savings were swallowed by the operation. The suspects had attempted to stay ahead of law enforcement by continuously shifting safe houses in the national capital before making a final escape to Patna.

EOW personnel utilized a non-bailable warrant to execute the arrest in Bihar. The accused are currently undergoing transit detention and will be formally charged upon arrival in Delhi. Investigators are meticulously examining financial records to map how the defrauded amounts were dispersed.
