With Diwali and Chhath festivals approaching, the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) is offering a special bus service until November 30th to ease travel for passengers. Recognizing the long waiting lists for train reservations, BSRTC is providing subsidies on bus fares, making travel more affordable and comfortable. The special bus service will operate from Patna to major cities and surrounding districts in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and other areas. BSRTC has equipped these buses with modern amenities for passenger comfort and safety.
The subsidy plan offers approximately a 30% discount on regular fares. For instance, the Patna-Delhi route, which typically costs ₹1873, will be available for ₹1254 after a subsidy of ₹619. Similarly, the Patna-Nagpur route fare will be reduced to ₹1133 from ₹1527, with a subsidy of ₹394. The Patna-SCR route fare has been reduced from ₹2812 to ₹1893.
Buses will depart from Delhi between 2 PM and 8 PM, arriving in Patna the next day. Passengers can conveniently book tickets online without standing in long queues. Buses will also operate from Patna to cities like Ghaziabad, Mathura, Varanasi, and Hajipur during the festivals. This initiative aims to provide passengers with a safe and economical travel option while boosting the popularity of BSRTC bus services. Tickets can be booked on the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation website at https://bsrtc.co.in/.
