A man in Patna, Bihar, was apprehended by the Phulwari Sharif police for impersonating an IPS officer and defrauding people. The accused, identified as Asrar Ahmed, a resident of Phulwari Sharif, was arrested following a raid based on a tip-off. He would deceive individuals by falsely claiming to be an ADG-rank officer. Ahmed asserted he was stationed at the police headquarters and interfered in land disputes, issuing threats. A case has been registered against him under several serious charges. According to police, Ahmed utilized mobile phones and emails to carry out his fraudulent activities.
