Chaos erupted at the Lagurahi waterfall in Gaya, Bihar, on Sunday when a sudden surge of water swept through the popular spot. Three girls were caught in the powerful current. Fortunately, onlookers managed to rescue them, although one girl sustained injuries after hitting the rocks. She was promptly taken to a nearby hospital. A video of the incident has surfaced, showing people scrambling to safety as the water levels rose unexpectedly. The Lagurahi waterfall, located on the Lagurahi hills in Gaya, is a popular destination, attracting hundreds of visitors daily, particularly during the summer. On the day of the incident, numerous children, youths, and young women were enjoying the waterfall when a large volume of water unexpectedly cascaded down from the hills, creating a strong current. The sudden increase in water posed an immediate threat to those present.
