Three Indian players achieved hat-tricks during the match. The encounter, played at the Rajgir Hockey Stadium, saw Abhishek (5′, 8′, 20′, 59′), Sukhjeet Singh (15′, 32′, 38′), and Jugraj Singh (24′, 31′, 47′) each scoring three goals for India. Furthermore, captain Harmanpreet Singh (26′), Amit Rohidas (29′), Sanjay (54′), Dilpreet Singh (55′), and Rajinder Singh (32′) also contributed to the scoreline.
