A man from Vaishali district, Bihar, has filed a complaint with the police, alleging that his wife abandoned him and their daughter after securing a government job. The complainant claims he sold his mother’s jewelry to fund his wife’s education, leading to her employment. He further alleges his wife is involved in an illicit relationship and has left him for another man. The man, identified as Pankaj Kumar Sah, stated that he married Pooja Kumari on February 10, 2020. He claims he sold his mother’s jewelry to educate his wife and secure her a job in the Fire Brigade Department. During Pooja’s training in Bihta, she allegedly began an affair with Rahul, a fellow fireman from the Arrah district, who is currently posted in Saharsa district. Pankaj says that Pooja was posted in Supaul district on May 7, 2023. On March 7, 2021, their daughter was born, who is now four and a half years old. When Pankaj went to visit his wife in Supaul, he discovered information about her alleged illicit relationships. Pankaj alleges that upon protesting these relationships, Pooja forced him and their daughter to leave their home. He also claims to have received an objectionable video of Pooja with her alleged lover. When he confronted his in-laws, he claims they threatened him with false charges if he did not divorce Pooja. Pankaj has requested the police to file an FIR and provide him with justice.
