He acknowledged the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and emphasized that enhancing the participation of women is the government’s key responsibility. He said that the NDA government is constantly working towards fulfilling this responsibility.
He further mentioned that both the central and Bihar governments are consistently working towards making women self-reliant and giving them respect. In other news, the Bahujan Samaj Party has announced the names of its candidates for three seats in the Kaimur district ahead of the Bihar assembly elections. The BSP has nominated Vikas Singh (alias Lallu Patel) from Bhabua, Omprakash Deewana from Mohania, and Satish Yadav (alias Pintu Yadav) from Ramgarh. The name of the candidate for the Chainpur seat has not been announced yet. Satish Yadav lost the assembly by-election last year by a narrow margin. Omprakash Deewana is known as a Bhojpuri singer.

Under this scheme, Rs. 10,000 was sent to the bank accounts of 75 lakh women via DBT. This amounts to Rs. 7,500 crore, which has been provided to the women of Bihar to realize their dreams. This amount will accelerate the path to self-reliance for women.
On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana, under which Rs. 10,000 was transferred to the accounts of 75 lakh women as the first installment. On this occasion, party leaders and workers, including state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha, listened to the address of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister through a virtual medium. They also distributed sweets and celebrated with fireworks at the party office.
Several leaders from the Shahabad, Mithila, and Patliputra regions joined the Rashtriya Lok Morcha. Former Lok Sabha candidate from Madhubani and former National General Secretary of the Mithila Student Union, Priyaranjan Pandey, former Zilla Parishad member of Bihta, Simmi Kumari, and Dr. Parvez Hussain, in-charge and state general secretary of AIMIM, along with their supporters, joined the party in the presence of the party’s national president and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha.
Upendra Kushwaha welcomed the new members and expressed confidence that the party would be further strengthened in the Mithila, Patliputra, and Shahabad regions of Bihar, and that the new members would work with full dedication and commitment to accelerate the work of public service.
CPI (ML) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya addressed the Patliputra Dalit Sammelan held in Patna on Friday, stating that there was an attack by SIR before the elections in Bihar. He said that they are fighting to protect the constitutional right to vote, and they must win this fight. He highlighted key points from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s 1927 water satyagraha and the burning of the Manusmriti to the entire process of constitution-making, considering these as two major achievements.
RJD spokesperson Chittaranjan Gagan strongly condemned the remarks made by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar against RJD national president and former chief minister Lalu Prasad and former chief minister and leader of opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council, Rabri Devi. He stated that it is unfortunate for Bihar that a person in the position of chief minister does not know what words to choose and what language to use while commenting on former chief ministers of the state.
The RJD spokesperson added that it is Navratri, during which the feminine power is worshipped. However, what message is the Chief Minister sending by using inappropriate words about Rabri Devi, the symbol of feminine power? He said that they cannot even expect an apology from him because using inappropriate words for women has become a norm in the company he keeps.
