A significant meeting of the India Bloc took place on Saturday at the residence of Tejashwi Yadav, focusing on the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Discussions centered on seat distribution, with key decisions made regarding alliances. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and the Lok Janshakti Party (Pashupati Paras) are set to join the India Bloc in the Bihar elections, with seats allocated for both parties within the alliance. Rajesh Ram, the state president of the Congress, described the meeting as highly positive, stating that a seat-sharing formula had been largely agreed upon. Discussions have progressed on most seats, and a final agreement is expected soon. With new parties joining the coalition, adjustments and compromises are necessary from each party. A final seat formula will be determined shortly.
