Jehanabad Tragedy: Domestic Clash Turns Deadly Over Simple Food Dispute

A quiet morning in the fields of Jehanabad turned into a nightmare for the Kumari family. Kunal Kumar, after completing his work in the paddy fields, visited his home and asked his sister‑in‑law, Anshu Kumari, for a meal. While serving the dish, a faint layer of soil on Anshu’s hands caught Kunal’s attention, leading to an angry outburst. The argument rapidly intensified. Kunal first struck Anshu and forced her onto the ground. He then seized a gandasi, a traditional sharp implement, and delivered a fatal strike that caused her immediate death.
