LPG, CNG Prices Hold Firm While Brent Crude Hovers Above $93

Domestic LPG cylinder rates stayed flat on August 24. A 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi costs Rs 942, while the 19 kg commercial cylinder is Rs 2,738. Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bhopal, Lucknow and Patna report similar figures, with Patna’s domestic cylinder at the highest Rs 1,040. CNG in Delhi remains at Rs 83.09 per kilogram. The unchanged prices underline the limited transmission of global oil price shifts to cooking and compressed natural gas tariffs.
