A disturbing incident has come to light from a private school in the Madhepura district of Bihar. A child was reportedly locked in a room at the BS Public School in Belha Ghat. The school administration demanded the parents pay the outstanding fees before they could see their child. After the mother paid the fees, she was led to a room where she found her child deceased. The child, identified as Ujjwal Kumar, was a student in Class 1. The child’s elder brother mentioned that he had not seen his brother at school for 2-3 days. The school staff had allegedly prevented him from meeting his brother. The mother has accused the school director of demanding the fees and then taking her to a locked room where she found her son. The school administration allegedly tried to cover up the incident by sending the body home in an ambulance. A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against the school operator, and the investigation is ongoing.
