Former minister and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani has ignited a political firestorm in Bihar. Sahani declared that he would sacrifice his life for Prime Minister Narendra Modi if Modi grants reservation to the Nishad community. During a visit to Sitamarhi, Sahani also criticized the state’s law and order, stating that it had completely collapsed. He further alleged that the government lacks policies that benefit the people, instead of providing only five kilograms of grains to gain votes. Sahani emphasized the importance of leaders working effectively and suggested that those unable to do so should resign, allowing others to take their place. He added that the country would continue to function regardless of individual presence and that Bihar’s progress is the responsibility of its own people, not those from other states like Gujarat.
