The Mundeshwari Temple, nestled in the Kaimur district of Bihar, India, is a site of significant religious importance. Located atop the Pavra Hill, it is considered one of the oldest temples dedicated to the Mother Goddess in the country, dating back to the 5th century. The temple is open daily from sunrise to sunset and draws large crowds of devotees, especially during festivals like Navratri. The temple is accessible from the Bhabua headquarters, approximately 14 kilometers away, through stairs and a winding road, offering visitors different routes to reach the hilltop shrine.
