Former Union Minister in the Modi government and President of the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party, Pashupati Kumar Paras, has severed ties with the NDA. Paras announced his decision to contest the upcoming assembly elections under the banner of the Grand Alliance. He made this statement during a press conference at his residence in Kautilya Nagar, the capital. Paras expressed concern over the dire situation in Bihar, citing an unfavorable political climate. He suggested that leaders in the central government and NDA alliance have already conceded defeat before the elections.
