A Passport Seva Mobile Van Camp is being organized on a large scale in Sheikhpura, Bihar. The Regional Passport Office, Patna, processed approximately four lakh passport applications in 2024. Notably, the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, initiated the issuance of chip-embedded passports at the Regional Passport Office, Patna, starting May 12th of the same year.
The Regional Passport Office, Patna, is organizing a Passport Seva Mobile Van Camp at the Information and Public Relations Office complex in Sheikhpura from September 16th to 18th. Sheikhpura district does not have a Post Office Passport Seva Kendra. Consequently, the number of applicants has been increasing.
Since April 2024, a total of ten camps have been organized. This camp in Sheikhpura will be the eleventh, following events in Siwan, Gopalganj, Purnia, Police District Bagaha, and Lakhisarai. The Regional Passport Office, Patna, is committed to continuing to provide such services.
Applicants must fill out the online application, pay the prescribed fee, and secure an appointment for the Passport Seva Mobile Van Camp. On the designated day, time, and location, applicants must bring original and self-attested photocopies of all required documents. Applicants must be present in person for photo, fingerprint, application, and original certificate verification. Applications for PCC and applications held due to any reason or certificate will not be accepted at this camp.
