Patna’s New Day‑Trip Bundles for Students, Weekenders and Pilgrims
The Bihar tourism authority has announced three distinct one‑day travel bundles aimed at different visitor groups in Patna. Tailored for school students, weekend explorers and religious tourists, the packages ensure organized travel with inclusive amenities.
All bundles feature a comfortable AC or Traveller bus, breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea‑coffee, bottled water, entry fees to listed monuments and a certified guide. A tourism police contingent will accompany each group to maintain order and safety.
For school groups, the itinerary covers Patna Zoo, the Governor’s House, the Secretariat, Eco‑Park and the Bihar Museum, followed by heritage stops at Golghar, Gandhi Sangrahalaya, Civilization Gate, the Science Centre and Buddha Smriti Park. This mix offers both educational value and fun.
Pricing is transparent: ₹2,000 per passenger for AC buses and Traveller vans; private operators Inova and Itios charge ₹2,500. Minimum passenger thresholds are defined per vehicle. The weekend traveler bundle mirrors the school route and pricing.
The religious bundle includes pilgrimages to Mahavir, ISKCON, Sheetla Mata, Badi Patna Devi, Agamkuan, Choti Patna Devi, and Jalla Mahavir temple, with a lunch at Patna Sahib Gurudwara. The fare for this package stands at ₹1,500 for a bus and ₹1,600 for a Traveller.
