Patna police probe CCTV footage after ₹16 lakh theft from senior railway engineer’s home

Following a burglary that netted around sixteen lakh rupees from the home of a senior railway engineer, Patna law enforcement officials have launched a thorough review of CCTV footage from cameras installed around the Khagoul police station area. The victim, who had been on duty at the railway headquarters in Hajipur, locked his bungalow early on September 14 and left for work. Upon his return late that night he discovered broken locks, scattered furniture and missing cash and jewellery. The swift response of the 112 emergency team secured the scene, and officers are now piecing together the timeline of the break‑in to locate the culprits.
