In the jurisdiction of the Janipur police station in Patna, Bihar, two children of an AIIMS guard were murdered in broad daylight by burning them. The primary motive behind this heinous act has now come to light. It is reported that the crime was driven by a love affair. Police are expected to reveal the full details of the case soon. AIIMS guard, Shobha Devi, was involved in a relationship.
However, due to some reason, Shobha Devi separated from her lover. Subsequently, the lover committed this gruesome act. According to the information received so far, the perpetrators stuffed a cloth into the mouth of Anjali Kumari, the 14-year-old daughter of guard Shobha Devi. Anjali’s brother, Ansh, was also attacked on the head. The attackers then poured kerosene on both of them and set them on fire.
They remained in the house until the children were burnt to death.
Information indicates that the criminals stayed in the house until both children were burnt to death. When the criminals were committing the crime with Anjali, Ansh witnessed everything. The criminals believed that if Ansh survived, he would inform the police, so they killed him to eliminate all evidence. The perpetrators are close associates of Shobha Devi.
The police have arrested two criminals. Further questioning is underway for four other criminals. The police may reveal the complete details of this case very soon. The police also suspect that the criminals may have committed a heinous act with Anjali before the murder. The police have sent vaginal swabs and burnt substances to the FSL. Anjali’s clothes have also been sent for FSL testing. The full picture will be clear only after the investigation report is out.
