Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Bihar’s Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana via video conferencing on Friday. As part of the initiative, an initial installment of Rs 10,000 was directly deposited into the bank accounts of 75 lakh women beneficiaries. This program aims to promote self-employment and bolster livelihoods within the state.
Modi stated, “During the auspicious occasion of Navratri, I have the privilege of sharing in the joy of the women in Bihar. To date, 75 lakh sisters have enrolled in this scheme. A sum of Rs 10,000 has been simultaneously transferred into the bank accounts of all these sisters.”
