Police Break Door, Find Body Hanging from Fan in Kanpur Home of Teacher Madhu Pal

When the landlord reported the locked door to authorities, Katkhera police station chief Sanjeev Kumar Dubey arrived with a team. After receiving the call, officers forced the door open at approximately 11 p.m. and discovered Madhu Pal's lifeless body suspended from a ceiling fan.

The body was carefully lowered and taken to the district medical college hospital for examination. Due to procedural constraints, the initial post‑mortem could not be performed, prompting a transfer to a higher‑level facility. The forensic science laboratory also collected samples from the scene, and the residence has been sealed as part of the ongoing inquiry.
